Lisa Rinna is not joining Bravo’s hit franchise in Beverly
Hills. According to an April 18 E! News
report, rumors that Rinna is close to inking any deal to join the cast of “The Real
Housewives of Beverly Hills” are untrue.
Though the series is undergoing a cast change, following the exits of
both Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer, a rep for the Bravo network told E!
that there is “no truth” to the rumors that Rinna will join the cast for its
fourth season.
RadarOnline has a different spin on Rinna and the Bravo
franchise. According to the online
publication, Rinna is close to finalizing a deal to join the cast, and will
replace Maloof. A source told RadarOnline
that the Rinna “really, really wants to join the show.” According the source, “Producers had
initially asked Lisa to become a part of the show when it first launched, but
she turned it down because she decided to do her own reality show for TV Land.”
Whether or not she joins the show, Rinna is no stranger to
reality television. She had a
short-lived reality television show with her husband fromer “L. A. Law” star
Harry Hamlin, and has done two stints on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice.”
