Lauren Conrad may have taken a break from her MTV reality television
shows, but that does not mean she’s broke.
The “Hills” star recently paid $3.74 million on a new Los Angeles
mansion, according to an April 18 TMZ report.
Sources close to the home purchase told TMZ that Conrad
bought the 4,300 sq. ft. 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom home in the exclusive Brentwood neighborhood
this week. The home reportedly features
a two-story level layout, new kitchen, huge backyard and a basketball
court.
And there’s a connection to reality television. The home was recently remodeled by Bravo
reality star and celebrity interior designer Jeff Lewis of the network’s hit “Flipping
Out.”
According to the Inquisitr, Conrad purchased the home after
a recent trip to India, where she rocked pink hair for the annual Holi
festival. The best-selling author kicks
off her book tour for her new novel and the final installment of her Fame Game
book series this summer.
